Joining the Cooperative

If you wish to live at Peterborough, you can join our waiting list by filling out the form in the link below.

Membership also includes responsibility for being part of the neighbourhood, being a friendly neighbour, co-managing the cooperative, taking on a position of responsibility, and promoting cooperative housing.

Apologies as we have a long waiting list, and not much turnover. We will interview households to select the new residents, and generally prefer those the most diverse from the existing residents.

The cooperative has 14 dwellings clustered around a large common courtyard. 11 are rental units, and 3 are by buying-in. It also has a common house/education centre, and an adjoining section for parking.

You will be joining an intentional community and will need to become a member of the cooperative.

As we manage the cooperative ourselves, we each do an hour’s voluntary work weekly for it.

Here are our rules about living well alongside each other. As we are our own landlords, we set the rules.
